Agile Scrum Master Course

Overview

If your favorite IT department is moving to an agile methodology, chances are you’ll start to work differently than you have in the past. If you’re a Project Manager or a team leader trying to figure out where you fit into Agile, an understanding of the myths and realities of the Scrum Master role may help. The Scrum Master role was devised as a coach and facilitator role, not to lead via command and control nor to dictate to the team, but to clear the path and allow the team to do what they need to do in order to deliver business value in short bursts of work. Should a Project Manager become the Scrum Master? Should a Manager? What about a lead developer or other senior team member? In this course you will learn approaches, techniques and skills across hybrid environments that will help you become the Scrum Master your team and your organization needs.  The goal is to develop excellent Scrum Master skills that will lead to successful teams, transparent communication and profitable products.
