It's National Backwards Day. Leonardo da Vinci wrote backwards or upside down to get a different perspective on his writing. Try writing backwards or upside down for a while. Your brain literally starts to create new pathways to learn a different way of writing. You can even begin to see things from a different perspective. Stuck on a problem? Try writing it out backwards or upside down. You might be surprised to discover your brain has an interesting capacity!
For extra credit try writing with your non-dominant hand. If you are right-handed then try writing with your left. This is another way of getting your brain to look at things differently and get out of a thinking rut. Cheers to your new pathways!
